Prison Pet Partnership Program

The Prison Pet Partnership Program teaches boarding and grooming skills to women inmates so they can find gainful employment in the pet industry upon release. The Program works with local animal shelters to select homeless dogs which are good candidates for becoming service dogs to provide independence, self-confidence and mobility for persons with disabilities. Under the guidance of the Program’s Training Coordinator, inmates train service dogs which will be matched with persons with disabilities through team training and on-going assistance.

Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue Silent Auction September 25th 2010

Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue's mission is to make permanent lifelong placements for the greyhounds we take in where both the adopter and hounds are happy, as well as to provide ongoing support to our greyhounds and adopters after the adoption. You might want to check out our website at the address above - it will give you a great picture of the exciting things that our group is doing. Our group continues to take in as many greyhounds as possible (even those with special needs and those who tend to stay with us a long time). We keep the hounds in foster homes until we find them appropriate homes.
